What is Personal Training?:
Personal Training is an exercise programme delivered to you by a professional in health, sports and fitness field. This individual should be competent in offering programme’s covering a range of cardio vascular, weight/resistance, core and sports specific training as well as having an understanding of nutrition and injury to help you on your way to achieving those all important goals.
Who may benefit from Personal Training?:
Anybody and everybody. If you have a goal of which you are unsure of how to reach a Personal Trainer can supply you with the tools you need to achieve your full potential.
Aims:
The aims of a Personal Trainer are first and foremost to discover what your specific aims and goals are. It is then the job of the trainer to provide you with a set of safe, enjoyable and effective training sessions. The trainer also aims to discover what has stopped you from achieving in the past and should strive to understand your barriers to exercise.
Personal trainer is able to:
- Provide you the individual with safe and effective programme’s completely suited to your aims and goals.
- Motivate, encourage and inspire you to achieve any aims and goals which have been set.
- Help you understand the reasons why you are taking part in certain exercises.
- Provide you with knowledge of effective nutritional intake.
- Inform you of factors surrounding your specific goals i.e. flexibility, injury prevention, correct footwear etc.
- Be a form of moral support.
